Even before little Evie was born, her parents knew they wanted to capture the all-too-fleeting moments leading up to her birth.[more]

When the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation needed updated images of native Australian wildlife, they reached out to Limitless Photography and we had an amazing time capturing these wild animals and the wonderful work they perform at the hospital in rescuing, healing and returning them to the wild. With needs ranging from photos for the hospital’s website to images for print publications, the photo shoot was done on-site, highlighting our most unusual models to date - pelicans, koalas, wallaby’s, goanna, turtles, and sugar sliders. Happy Mother’s Day!

What mum wouldn’t love professional photos of her kids? None that we know of!

These three siblings came to Limitless Photography when planning a surprise gift for their mum on Mother’s Day. Their goal was to have photos taken in several poses and settings, then pick the perfect one for their special gift to a special mum.

Twestival Charity Event

When we were asked to do a pro-bono photo shoot to benefit Mummy’s Wish at the Brisbane Twestival 2011, we jumped at the chance.

Mummy’s Wish provides practical support and information to mums with cancer, with young children, and aims to ease the burden of cancer diagnosis. [more]

In addition to providing emotional support, Mummy’s Wish also helps on the practical side, with organising and funding babysitting, house-cleaning or parking while in hospital. They also lend laptops to mums for use while they are undergoing treatment in hospital.

We are proud to support Mummy’s Wish at the Brisbane Twestival 2011.

Just the Two of You

While some couples find photo shoots difficult, our photographer, Tara, knows how to put people at ease - and get great shots like these of Katie and her husband.

This portraiture sitting was done at the couples’ home in Paradise Point, QLD, on a rainy afternoon in December. Katie and Greg were both extremely warm and inviting[more], a warmth that shines through in their photos.

To help capture the couple’s chemistry, Tara set up a mobile studio in their lounge room, complete with studio lighting and a backdrop. As you can see, the simple setting showcases this couple - as well as their dog and cat (not shown), who didn’t want to be left out of the pictures!

Baby’s First Weeks

Modeling - Portfolio Shoot

Her First Professional Modelling Portfolio

This was Annie’s first modelling shoot and our photographer, Tara, made sure Annie was at ease during the three-hour session.

The photos, which will be used in Annie’s modelling portfolio, were taken on her home balcony. During the course of the shoot, Annie had three outfit changes while using three different locations within her home. This resulted in dozens of photos to[more] choose from, with 10 amazing shots ultimately being produced for the portfolio.

Because this was Annie’s first modelling portfolio, Tara suggested various poses that she knew would enhance Annie’s natural beauty and porcelain complexion. The cloud cover on that day reduced the amount of harsh shadows, colour spotting was used in the top photo.

A Professional Portfolio Shoot Done Pin-Up Style

Chelsie, a professional pin-up model, asked Limitless Photography to do a portfolio shoot at her home in Surfers Paradise. The portfolio, she requested, should emulate the subtle and candid look of the 1950s.

Our photographer, Tara, knew the “look” would be enhanced by shooting in black and white, as well as using props found throughout Chelsie’s home. During this shoot, Chelsie was posed inside a classic car, with period jewellery and[more] hairstyle. The resulting shots looked as though they had been taken for a 1950s fashion magazine.

There were so many great shots taken that day that it was hard for Tara to decide which to display here, but one of her favourite’s (and Chelsie’s) was the 50s style bicycle. Doesn’t it blend perfectly with the “look”?

Who can forget the fashions of the 1980s? No one, when they’re captured in photographs like these, taken for a 40th birthday bash at The Corro, South Brisbane.

Photographing a Beautiful Mum-to-Be

Even through Krystal was very body conscious - being in her 9th month of pregnancy - she decided this was the exact moment that she wanted to be photographed. Krystal thought that In future years, when this day was far behind her, she could still cherish the precious moments through the exquisite photos taken by Tara.

Tara immersed herself in the photo session, wanting to[more] capture Krystal’s glow, happiness, and sense of wonder. As she said, “I truly love taking photos of women while they are pregnant; it is so amazing and such a beautiful time.”

As it turns out, Krystal’s photo session was none too soon. Three days after these pictures were taken, little Elly entered the world.

Note: To provide Krystal with the most perfect photos possible, a very small amount of digital retouching was done on minor imperfections.

When our photographer, Tara, visited Baby Abby, she was immediately struck with how easy it was to photograph this beautiful little girl.

While some babies become fussy during a photo shoot, little Abby was an angel who[more] loved being centre-stage. She took to the camera as if she were a professional baby model who had been doing this all of her young life.
